I love color as well as form and SERGEANT PEPPER’S BAND has as bright a red as I have ever seen.  The granny smith green throat is exactly the right contrast.  This is a lovely garden flower that stands out because of it’s bright color.  SERGEANT PEPPER’S BAND stands up well to the sun in my garden.  On very hot days the color lightens a bit in the afternoon and a darker red halo appears.
